DESCRIPTION

Sitio De Maria is a family owned farm of 40 hectares based in the Santa Ana region of El Salvador. We love coffees from this region. The small scale production means greater attention to detail and higher cup scores. These coffees are prepared for export at the same cooperative mill (Cuzcachapa) as our mainstay coffee E1 Project Espresso.

This small natural lot is picked at peak maturity, naturally fermented for 12 hours and is patio dried for up to 10 days. It is frequently turned to ensure even drying and high quality.

The coffee has distinct characteristics of Amaretto, Malted Biscuits and Black Cherry. It is a great representation of the delicious naturally processed coffees from this region.
