Sourced from the same coffee cherries that produce our exceptional Migoti Hill coffee, this cascara tea offers a unique connection to Burundi’s rich agricultural heritage. The dried husks of the coffee cherries are carefully processed to create a naturally sweet, fruity tea with notes of fresh cranberry, golden raisins and black tea. 

Migoti Hill Cascara reflects the commitment to sustainability and community impact that defines the farm. By repurposing the coffee cherry skins, the farm helps minimise waste while providing additional income for the 1236 local smallholders who contribute to the cooperative.

With its low caffeine content and antioxidant-rich profile, cascara tea is a refreshing and flavourful alternative to coffee. Whether enjoyed hot or cold, it offers a vibrant taste of Burundi’s high-altitude terroir and the innovation of Migoti Coffee’s forward thinking agricultural practices.
