Road Team Member
At Clifton Coffee, coffee is more than just what’s in the cup—it’s about people, relationships, and creating exceptional experiences. We’re looking for an enthusiastic, customer-focused coffee professional to join our growing team.
This is a field-based role, ideal for someone based in and around Bristol who loves coffee, thrives on building relationships, and takes pride in delivering outstanding customer service. You’ll work with some of the region’s best hospitality businesses across areas including Bristol, Bath, Gloucester and the surrounding areas.
If you’re passionate about specialty coffee, enjoy being out on the road, solving problems, and helping customers get the very best from their coffee offering—we’d love to hear from you.
What you’ll be doing
As a key member of our wholesale support team, you’ll play an essential role in helping our customers succeed by delivering both exceptional coffee and exceptional service.
Your day-to-day will include:
- Delivering weekly coffee orders to our wholesale partners and building strong, lasting customer relationships
- Acting as the face of Clifton Coffee, representing our brand with professionalism, energy, and personality
- Troubleshooting coffee equipment including machines from La Marzocco, La Spaziale, VA and Ceado
- Dialling in grinders, supporting equipment maintenance, and helping customers consistently serve incredible coffee
- Delivering coffee training and sharing knowledge with customers and their teams
- Working closely with our roastery and engineering teams to ensure customers receive seamless support
- Taking pride in maintaining your company vehicle and equipment to a high standard
What we’re looking for
We’re looking for someone who brings energy, curiosity, and genuine passion for hospitality.
You’ll ideally have:

- Experience in customer-facing roles
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- A passion for great coffee and delivering memorable customer experiences
- A proactive attitude and willingness to learn new technical skills
- Ambition, self-motivation, and a desire to grow with the business
Coffee equipment experience is a bonus—but attitude, passion, and a customer-first mindset matter most.
What you’ll get from us
We believe in investing in our people, and we’re committed to helping you grow.
As part of the team, you’ll receive:
- 25 days holiday plus time off over Christmas
- Specialist coffee equipment maintenance training
- Free Specialty Coffee Association training, including Barista Intermediate certification
- Discretionary performance bonuses
- The opportunity to work with an ambitious, passionate team in one of the UK’s leading specialty coffee businesses
