Recognised and celebrated by international coffee tasters, Buenavista secured a place among the top 15 special coffees in the Colombia Tierra de Diversidad competition. Judged on attributes like acidity, body balance, smoothness, and exotic qualities, this coffee excelled.

The farm is located at elevations ranging from 1,810 to 2,300 metres above sea level. Juan’s motivation to cultivate specialty coffee stems from a profound connection to the land and the rich coffee culture in the region. His is driven by the opportunity to create exceptional, high-quality coffees that showcase the unique flavours of the Catiope variety and to contribute to the specialty industry.
