The Barista Skills Intermediate course builds on the practical skills developed on the foundation course. The baristas will gain a deeper understanding of how coffee origin impacts flavour, the importance of espresso puck preparation, how to work efficiently during busy periods and latte art techniques. This course introduces espresso tasting, extraction calculations and basic business practises. 

Please note that an ‘SCA Learner Number’ will be required to book the course.

If you’re not already registered with the SCA, you can register as a learner for free here.

Once you’ve booked your course with us, our AST trainer will enrol you onto the course via the SCA website to complete the certification & exam application.

All you have to do is accept the course invitation via your SCA account before the course date!

The total price includes the class fee, exams, certification & AST fees. We look forward to seeing you on the course!

All SCA classes start at 9:30am & finish at 4:30pm at our Roastery.
