This course is part of the SCA Coffee Skills Program which consists of six specialist modules. The Speciality Coffee Association (SCA) is the globally accredited organisation that represents coffee professionals all over the world. For the Intermediate courses you’ll earn 25 points towards your SCA Coffee Skills Program.
3 practical exams and a written online exam (40 questions, 80% pass rate). You’ll receive a link after the course and 21 days to complete the exam.
Designed to introduce the professional into the core skills and equipment required to produce great brewed coffee. The course tests the ability to navigate the coffee brewing control chart and understand how to plot in required points. You also will understand lipids in coffee and the impact of acidity.
Please note that an SCA learner number will be required for the course. If you’re not already registered visit: http://scae.com/registration and ‘Become a Learner’ to begin your FREE registration. If you’re already an SCA member, you’ll need to input your SCA number instead.
Bookings can be cancelled up to 5 working days prior the course date and full refund will be issued. £50 charge for late booking cancellation or no show.
